Bodog Poker Rakeback Details
|
Bodog Poker is an independent site known for having great games and some great promotions. Add to the list a great way of getting cash back on your Bodog account.
Ok, so it's not officially rakeback, but it works in a very similar way, and the best thing about it is that you don't have to do anything extra to get it. In fact, if you play at Bodog right now, you are earning points that can be converted to cash, putting some of the rake you pay back into your account! Sounds like rakeback, right?
Bodog does NOT offer rakeback of any kind but they have a points to cash feature that rewards players based on their amount of play.
There are also a number of other benefits that Bodog rewards their frequent players with, such as entrance into freeroll tournaments using your points and ways to multiply your points earned for even greater benefit and more money in your pocket.

Bodog Poker Points Program - Earn and Multiply Your Points
Everyone playing at real money tables on Bodog will earn Bodog Poker Points, also known as PTS. In fact, all new players will receive 50 PTS just for signing up!
To earn PTS, you just need to participate in real money poker games. Bodog awards points in ring games based on the amount of the rake taken from the hand. Take a look at the chart below to see how PTS are awarded:
Rake Taken -- Points Awarded
$1.00 - $3.00: 1.00 points earned
$0.50 - $0.95: 0.50 points earned
$0.25 - $0.45: 0.25 points earned
$0.05 - $0.20: 0.10 points earned
Since the site awards partial points, even players at the lowest stakes have the potential to earn PTS for each hand. Keep in mind that you must contribute to a raked pot in order to earn points. What that means is that if you are not in a blind and fold your hand without putting any money in the pot, you do not get any PTS for that hand.
Tournament players will receive 3 PTS for every $1.00 paid in tournament fees. So if you were to play in a $10 + $1 tournament, you would receive 3 PTS. In a $20 + $2 tournament you would receive 6 PTS, and so on.
Additionally, Bodog wants to reward you for spending a lot of time on the tables. They do this by giving PTS based on time spent playing. For every 60 minutes spent playing at a table, they will give you 1 point. You can earn up to 500 PTS per month based solely on time spent playing. Please note that you cannot earn these points if you are sitting out or if you are playing freerolls.
Another great benefit for higher volume players is the Bodog Poker Points multiplier. A current promotion states that players earning more than 2,000 PTS in a month will have their monthly points total doubled. For example, if you earn 3,200 PTS in a single month, you will receive an additional 3,200 points when the month is over. This is a very generous offer from Bodog Poker and it should definitely be taken advantage of while it is still available.
Now that you have accumulated PTS, you have the opportunity to spend them. There are two options from which to choose. If you enjoy MTT poker, you can use your points to play in tournaments. Some of the PTS tournaments offer a cash prize while others offer a satellite ticket into much larger tournaments.
Most players, however, prefer to convert their points to cash. Trading for cash is a very simple process. Once you are logged in, just go to the "Account" tab and click on "Points to Cash". Enter the amount of PTS you would like to convert to cash and click "Convert".
The exchange rate is 100 PTS for $1 US. You must convert a minimum of 500 PTS, and you can convert up to 25,000 points every 30 days. This equates to $250 for each 30 day period!
Keep in mind that converted cash is considered a bonus, which means that regular bonus rollover rules apply. In other words, you must earn 3 Bodog Poker Points for each $1 before you may withdraw the bonus money.
