TigerGaming Rakeback is a thing of the past. Now the room has a much improved Player Option Points (POPs) where you can really rack up some cash. To earn POPs, simply play in real money games. Tiger Gaming does NOT offer rakeback directly, but through their POP program you can earn cashback which is similar to rakeback.
Accumulating POPs at cash games comes down to how much rake you contribute to the pot. For every $0.10 of rake you generate, TigerGaming will credit you with 1 POP. For example, if 4 players contribute an even amount to a pot that winds up being $40, then each player is assigned $10 of the pot. That $10 is multiplied by 5% to calculate the rake of $0.50. Therefore, each player would receive 5 POPs.
TigerGaming customers who play tournaments will earn POPs as well. For every $0.10 a player pays in tournament fees, they will earn a Player Option Point. So, registering for a $10 + $1 SNG or Tournament wil earn you 10 POPs.
Obviously you don't have to kep track of your POPs, the TigerGaming client will do that for you. Click on the Reports page and then select POP Transaction report.
What can you spend your POPs on? Prizes and cash! Check out the POP Prizes Page for a full list of items. On this page you can also redeem your points for cash. The more points you redeem, the better conversion rate you get, so we suggest you collect a lot of points before you initiate your first cash conversion. See the chart below for conversion rates:
20,000 POP - $100 Value - $.0050 / POP
12,000 POP - $50 Value - $.0042 / POP
7,000 POP - $25 Value - $.0035 / POP
1,500 POP - $5 Value - $.0033 / POP
325 POP - $1 Value - $.0031 / POP
So you can see, the conversion rate varies a lot from bottom to top, so you should definitely wait until you have 20,000 POP if possible.
